Food Review: Filipino Street Food (UP)
I've always been a sucker for cheap restos and cheap yummy food. And what kind of food would be cheap and yummy? Filipino Street Food!
Back when I was in college, I'd always buy kikiam/ fishballs in between classes. Since graduating from university, I haven't had the chance to eat these types of food frequently. So one weekend we decided to just go and eat Filipino Street Food just for fun!

Clockwise from top: Fishballs, Kikiam, Kwek-Kwek, Fishballs, Kikiam, Cheese Sticks
Fishballs - made from fish, flour and simple spices
Kikiam - not really sure what's inside - various seafood and some seasonings perhaps?
Kwek- kwek - Quail eggs coated with an orange flour mix - I LOVE THIS TO DEATH!
Cheese Sticks - self explanatory
While we were eating, this old vendor passed by carrying lumpia, banana cue and carioca!
We couldn't help ourselves and bought some too :D
Carioca - Rice flour fried and covered with caramelized brown sugar - YUM!
